Brunei // Day 1 & 2

Brunei

What comes to mind when you hear or read it?

Boring.

I'm sorry but yes.

But oh boy, did my perception on Brunei change after being there.

Well, it's partly thanks to my mates.

Day 1

Just the opening ceremony cos apparently, our presence in Brunei was a pretty big deal

So do you see what Shaqil's reading? Borneo Bulletin. Their local newspaper. We were in it the following day. Lol.

Day 2

Started the day of at Berakas Nature Reserve

Ps; The sun rises at like 5am there and we'll have like our buffet breakfast at like 6am

BUT IN SINGAPORE

my stomach wakes up at 10am

I find this so totally weird

Then we went on a boat tour at the Kampung Ayer

aka Water Village

Right, afterwards, we went to Gadung Night Market

I AM EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO GRAVITY FALLS

like never before have I been so attached to a cartoon

BUT THIS ISN'T A CARTOON

what I really love about this is that it's based on real myths and legends and mysteries

((altho not all))

so a little about Gravity Falls

first, the characters

 Dipper Pines!!

Mabel Pines!!

So Dipper and Mabel are twins who were sent away to their Grand Uncle Stan ((figure below)) who is referred to as Grunkle Stan at Gravity Falls!!!!!!!!!!!!!

right, Grunkle Stan owns this shop, The Mystery Shack~~~

Where he sells all kinds of sham mysterious and weird stuff

He's pretty much money minded ((or so they want to make you think))

the shop is run by the two characters below

 Soos!! Wise man he is

And Wendy, aka the love of Dipper's life

So Dipper finds this mysterious book 

To which he realises are causes of some of the weird adventures they've been having

SO MUCH LOVE FOR GRAVITY FALLS 

you do not understand argh

So if I'm not watching or crazing over Gravity Falls, here is what I have been doing too

school has just been pw and idk mate my ST doesn't really put my group as his priority so I go to school for 1 dry run with my ST and I go home

and it was pretty early so I decided to have Maki-san with the sister before she had to go to work

Maki-san is just a place where you can design your own sushi

been seeing people post their adorable boxes on Instagram and suddenly sister brings the box home like I FOUND TREASURE MOMENT

it's pretty good basically cos I get to choose what goes in my sushi so who wouldn't like that

got caught in the rain afterwards and well my sister fell

went to Ikea with them gal palz too just cos Farz was craving for them meatballs

it was one of the best days I had since MCE started tbh

we went wild in Ikea

like we were so hungry we didn't bother to take ANY photos of our meal

and to make up for that we took A TON of photos at the showrooms

anyhoo my parents are now in Bangkok for a holiday and I sent them off on Wednesday at lie 6am in the morning

since I was at the airport, I was like "heh why don't I wait for like 3 hours for Popeyes to open and eat them for breakfast"

yes, why don't I

so I waited at the Terminal 3 Aviation Gallery with several other homeless ladies who made their beds on the benches with newspapers

so Bianca decided on film week again and I have no clue why but yes I delay my roll developments like my own homework 

procrastination

I think I'm drunk
