Come On, Let's

Today, I shall attempt to help anyone who is planning a weekend getaway to Phuket.
Weekend referring to 3 days and 2 nights.

My mom had a business meeting in Phuket and she was all "I think it's time for you girls (me and my sister) to experience Phuket!" cos my parents had been there once like in 2014?
I think so... My concept of time has been warped thanks to school ironically.

My sister and I were working so we only had a weekend off and that was how the idea of our very short escape to Phuket was birthed.
So a little bit about my family, we don't do adventures, unless they involve food and cheap shopping deals with us being Singaporean and all.
Thus, this was more of a gastronomical and shopping-ical (idk) trip.

We arrived in Phuket early, like at 9am? We had booked a room at Pimnara Boutique Hotel at Patong, one of the city areas of Phuket with tourists spots. Pimnara was right in the heart of one of the major shopping areas in Phuket; Jungceylon making it pretty convenient for us to eat and shop.
It was across the street from a fresh market where we had our lunch and dinner.
Banzaan Fresh Market.
The market had a pretty neat system which I think should be implemented at Geylang Wet Market as well...
The first floor was where you could buy your ingredients and afterwards, you could bring them home and cook them yourself.....

Or go to the 2nd floor and ask one of the many shops available (mind you, only 1 was halal and it was also the busiest) to cook a scrumptious diddly-dumptious meal for you.
How awesome is that???? There are a ton of ways you could enjoy your freshly picked ingredients but we asked the chef to surprise us.

Rather unfortunately, the kitchens close at 5pm.
However, there is a night market right outside Banzaan that sells seafood and desserts where we had dinner, where, sadly, I was also too tired (more like lazy) to take any photos.
No worries, the food, especially the desserts were so good!

Oh, Jungceylon is really close to the pub 'n' club area; Bangladesh Street and despite it's name, there weren't many Banglas.
After you walked past the long street, you'll find yourself in this wonderfully sunny beach, uncreatively named Patong Beach, one of the attractions in Phuket so don't forget to visit it even for 5 minutes.

Moving on, my mom's meeting was being held at Siray Bay Westin Resort & Spa which was paradoxical, meetings = stress at a spa = to relax
Get the picture?
Anyhoo, we pretty much enjoyed ourselves there. Despite it only being for a night, we made ourselves really REALLY comfortable.
The resort was pretty big so we had to travel around the resort in a buggy and the place was like hilly (??) and so it was like riding a rollercoaster???
Such fun~

The resort was pretty ulu and there weren't much things you could do around there except laze around and chill and although I was all for the potato life, we needed dinner.
So we headed to Naka Weekend Night Market which was like an hour's drive from the resort.
It had so much good and cheap food and a whole lot of halal stalls much excites!!!
So that was basically how we spent our last day in Phuket, just chillin'

So we also needed lunch and we decided to eat at one of the in-house restaurants, Prego

So if you're one of those readers (which I am sometimes too) who just scrolls down the post to see the photos, please watch this video before you leave my page!
