The End Is Near

I don't usually post my photos without at least increasing the exposure but I felt that the blue hue of Singapore was like a jem, just different so yeah.

Also maybe cos I'm still in the process of finding an affordable alternative to Lightroom heh...

So this might (or might not cos it could just be an excuse in disguise) be the main reason for the lack of posts!

Bear with, bear with, I've also been going on a book reading rampage, reading all the books I could and I should have during my 2 years critically analysing my Lit texts.

The end of January is drawing near and I realised I've only posted 1 post and it isn't even about 2014/2015.
Am I sorry? Nah, not really, 2014 has been a hard year but a good year all the same, teaching me things that could only be understood through experience itself. But I'm not so sure about reliving those tales again. I'll think about it.

As for the new year, honestly, I'm looking forward to it! I've been making plans I never could imagine myself doing if you asked me 2 years ago (me; 16yo) and I'm looking forward to doing them! Although, there has been several bumps along the journey - my depleting funds, looking for a job and the biggest one yet, my very cloudy, foggy and misty future with the faint shadow of a brick wall in the distance - I'll take on this year head on, with positivity!

All things aside, I'm happy to be starting the year with my ever supporting and loving family and friends.

Also, here is a video I did at 1am in the morning. Be easy on me, it took me awhile to have the guts to post this video, that I know I could've done better but that's for me to handle.
It shouldn't stop you from taking a sneak into my kampung life at Batam, which is technically overseas ok...........

Tag, You're It

I think it's time for me to formally introduce you to my fellow blogger bestie (can you hear the white girls screaming in the distance? the word bestie, shivers)

Puteri is my blogger best friend and sorta my long lost twin whose birthday is like 2 days apart. Imagine our mom in the delivery room for 2 days... Jokes, we're from different families!

Basically, both of us were bored and I invited her to the library to blog together since both of us had blogs, no duh. We didn't really have anything to blog about so we googled and came across this Best Friend Tag on some blogs which looked interesting and like why not, yknow?

So here, I present to you, our Best Friend Tag!

we'll be answering the questions ourselves, just like yknow, for us to get to know each other better too

1. How and when did you meet?

Hazirah (Me): I first saw her during orientation at the school hall, cos she was in the same house (Rasalas) as me and she was really enthusiastic about cheers and participating in the activities and I was just like "woah... chill"

Puteri: Two years ago during our first year of junior college. Back then I HONESTLY didn't think we would be this close! And I thought she was a bit fierce at first. Oh, how I was wrong...

2. What is your favourite memory together?

H: All the times we spazzed about almost everything... And also during Sports Day when we were the only 2 Rasalas who were cool... jokes

P: HAHAHA honestly there's SO MANY!!!! But I shall give you the most recent one. It was when we went to see The Women in Black 2.  IT WAS HILARIOUS. Not the movie but Hazirah was screaming all the way and it was SO loud and the people seated infront of us were laughing at us. And there's this one time she went "AHHHHH HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT SERAM SIA".

3. Describe each other in one word.

H: Sunshine. No matter what she does, she tries to put her heart into it and it warms my heart like a big bright sunflower and idk she's small like how we see the sun but her actions are big like what the sun does for us HAHAHA sunmuffins

P: BULLY. 

4. What's your favourite makeup brand?

H: This is awkward cos I don't wear makeup...

P: I don't really have a favourite... but if I had to choose it will be Revlon. Their lipsticks and super great quality!!!!

 

5. What is something that annoys you about the other person?

H: Messy and disorganised!!!! I doubt anyone would forget the state of her school bag but despite this, our friendship isn't ;-) HAHA sorry Puteiro

P: She will ALWAYS correct my typo and grammatical error ugh HAHAHA

6. Have you ever liked the same person?

H: We always tend to spazz over the same character or actor in a movie or drama but that's about it I think...............

P: HAHAHA obviously no. We have VERY different taste even when it comes to celebrities. But we have very similar taste when it comes to hating someone hhahahahahaha

7. If you could go anywhere in the world together, where would it be and why?

H: This is tough cos both of us like to travel and honestly, anywhere would be totally fun with her but if I had to pick a place, it'd be somewhere in Europe? Maybe Russia cos we both learned about it in History or UK? Cos of The Remains of The Day in Lit and we'd just act out the whole book or something hahahaha but anywhere is awesome with her cos it'd be a privilege for her to even stay over at my house, what more travel!

P: I'm not sure but I feel like London will be a great place for us to go together. 

8. Who takes longer to get ready in the morning?

H: I'd say probably her? Cos she has to wear her hijab and makeup while I literally just throw on a tshirt and jeans. Despite this, I'm usually the late one...

P: Obviously me but she will also always be late doing god knows what...

9. Favourite Season?

H: Sale season, jokes. Probably the rainy season? I don't really like the humidity and the heat so yeah...

P: Singapore don't really have the four seasons but I love those cold/rainy days because then I can wear my jackets and layer on clothes 

10. Favourite Song?

H: I've been listening to The Drums again as of late, in particular, If He Likes It Let Him Do It

P: Right now my favourite song is Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. Its so groovy omg
