also known as Adam, a friend I made in secondary school, has a blog and well, I'm envious of him.

He turned his dreams into a reality, his dreams of travelling. 

And well, i'm envious cos he actually made his dream of travelling come true.

I'm envious because I know I'm too restricted, too insecure of the future, too afraid of the unknown to actually get off my ass and make my dreams come true.

His blog is also full of photographs.

Photographs of which are so full of life, which I too, am envious of.

The thing about photos or pictures is that as silent as they are, they can scream so much emotion.

Let's be honest, thanks to all the people who read my blog and complimented my photos but they're pretty amateur.

It's also because I'm afraid. 

Afraid of people judging me on the object that I'm taking a photo of, or how I take the photo, or if I'll get scolded by people when I take photos of strangers.

Fear.

And I've always had this theory; in order to be a great photographer, one that tells stories with photos, one must not be afraid, which I am.

So yeah, Adam's photos are so full of life, probably because he isn't afraid, and I'm envious of that. 

I hope he continues taking amazing photos and his blog is wonderful.

Apologies for the photo-less and word heavy post, I won't make it a habit.

So I decided to start of with my F80

first saturday

First day of June, first Saturday of my holiday.

But I had to spend it by attending a Malay Literature aka Sastera Seminar

Meh

Only to support my friends who were presenting

Especially Maizers!!!

Just finished my first roll from film week, developing them next week~~

So my dad brought home a car yesterday

((lol it isn't what it sounds like))

and so my family decided to go for a grocery run at 12.30 in the morning

resulting in a very hyper Haziqah and Hazirah who walked the supermarket's aisles full of swag and swinging hips.

YESTERDAY WAS ALSO INNOVA'S FIRST TALENT COMPETITION FINALS

IFACTOR FINALS

AND ALIF WON SECOND WOOHOO

((but let's be honest and this isn't cos he's my friend but he can really sing and totally deserved first place))

he doesn't really like this video but well

it was pretty awkward cos the talent competition was an interhouse competition and he's from a different house 

((I'm Rasalas he is Aquila))

I made a banner for him the previous night and wth it was like I was betraying Rasalas

oh well our friendship is way more important than house pride

((ps I have to thank Puteri for yolo-ing with me))

after school I went scooter-ing with Peiyee yay

I love my scooter <3

so i've been really busy with school ((ugh jc life thank God for my friends))

my summer tests just ended and after tomorrow

IT IS THE HOLIDAYS

((that might be filled with project work))

i'm trying to celebrate my holidays before my summer tests results are out and there'll be a high chance my parents would take away my privileges

anyhoo, bianca and amanda invited me to join them in film week!!!

i've missed the feeling of just snapping away and that suspense while you wait for your roll to develop and the surprise of how each photo turns out

Marina Bay Sands, the latest tourist attraction, mostly for all the bitches from the riches.

Prada, LV, Chanel, naming a few from the Marina Bay Sands Shoppe.

You get what I mean.

But Peiyee and I decided to feel, atas, or "high class" hahahahahahahahahaha yeah

So we decided to have some TWG at Marina Bay Sands for Peiyee's birthday.

I'd have to say I love their tea selection.

From their original mixes to the classics.

I decided to go with something new and have a pot of Pink Flamingo~~

It tasted really good mmmmdap!

I'll probably be really busy for the next couple of weeks. Been falling behind in my studies. I think.

Last December, I went to Hatyai, Thailand for a short getaway.

I guess I could say I wouldn't feel comfortable if I didn't go for a holiday at least once during a year.

It was pretty impromptu, going with my aunt's family. We're close.

The bus journey took almost 14 hours so we bought the tickets for an evening trip and reached Hatyai around 8am in the morning.

Altho it was also quite the bustling city, maybe not as busy and rushing as Singapore but it was still relaxing, in a way.

The food there was absolutely awesome. It was seriously good. Plus, it was cheap.

This was also my first adventure abroad with my F80.
